Artur Pashkov has been painting since he couldfirst hold a brush. The latest toys didn’t interest this talented artist from Russia. He loves the male nude as a subject and we love him for that. A Small Gay World
I recently came across this wonderful artist Artur Pashkov and sent him a note about the Painted Boy Gay Art Fair. He told me that he would love to come but he was now living in Moscow and traveling here would be impossible.
A few days later my computer crashed. A friend recommended Alex – the big Russian computer repairman. I visited Alex with computer in hand (he is great) and told him what I did. He said ” You must be the Painted Boy.”
Alex is Arturs friend and had heard about the fair. Alex also has about 100 pieces of Arturs works that he could not bring to Moscow. Alex will be selling them at the Painted Boy Art Fair for Arthur.
Brooklyn to Moscow to Brooklyn. I guess thats only two degrees of separation.
