We are recording again and we’ll try and have it out this year. The lp will contain some songs that we’ve been playing live and some new songs not yet heard outside of our tiny apt. We’ll also be posting some new photos and shows soon. Love, R & L

We are playing a show Wed. April 7th, at Santos Party House, 96 Lafayette in Manhattan NY,NY. We start at 8pm and the cover is $8. We are opening for Dead Leaf Echo and Revel Hotel, so come and hang with us for the night at this great venue. Also, you can view pictures from the night @ www.greenshoelace.com
Heavy Birds’ recording new single, “Minds”

We have just finished recording our new single “Minds” with producer Ian Miller and engineer Chase Culpon in the Clive Davis studio in NYC. We should be done mixing and mastering soon. It will be released on itunes, at our live shows, and for download on our myspace page this summer, with an album to follow.

We apologize, but our show scheduled at Pete’s Candy Store on the 21st has been canceled due to a needed repair on Lia’s cello. We hope to have more shows booked and on our tour page soon. On a happier note, our new songs are coming together and we will be trying out different sounds and percussion during our live shows and on the second lp. Hopefully it will all work out and we will debut our new sound soon. Happy 2010 everyone!

We’ve just uploaded some new songs that are currently only available through free downloads on our myspace page. These are the Aramis Estavez recordings, and our friend Noah helped on some quick mastering work that kept the sounds very live. We’ll keep posting new music as it comes. Enjoy!
