I will be attending the Out Music Awards. What should I wear? Can I even handle going to an awards show where Kevin Aviance is being presented with a “lifetime achievement” award!? For what, jumping in front of a camera??! He has absolutely no creative talent. His talent is self-promotion. I think of talents like Joey Arias, Raven -O, (formerly Miss) Guy, Sherry Vine…for an award like that. I remember a night at Crow Bar where Kevin performed. He didn’t even make sense on the mic he was so out of it. I don’t care how many rhinestones you stick on your face after the first minute I’m going to want to see some talent. This is a MUSIC award not a club persona award. What has Aviance accomplished musically in his lifetime?
